Public Prosecution refers cases of Martyr Mahgoub and brother of toppled president to court 

Khartoum, June 20 (SUNA) – The Public Prosecution has referred case No-5411/2019 concerning Martyr Mahgoub Al-Taj in which 11 defendants face charges under articles 21,130 and 186 of the Criminal Law.

The accused include a brigadier, a colonel,  a lieutenant colonel and a captain from the security service.

The Prosecution has also referred to the court case No 67-2020 in which, Ali Al-Basher , the brother of the toppled president and others face charges under articles 181,89 and 88 of the Criminal Law for squandering 27 million dollars.

 The prosecutors have earlier referred case No 7-2021 under articles 181, 89 and 88 of the Criminal Law in which the former Wali (governor) of South Darfur, Adam Al-Fakki accused of financial violations.
