Khartoum, June 1 (SUNA) – Chairperson of the Revolutionary Front Dr. Al-Hadi Idris has affirmed support of the front to the peace talks that are being held in Juba, capital of the Republic of South Sudan, between delegations of the government and the Sudan People’s Liberation Front-North for completion of the peace process in Sudan, noting that a delegation of the front would participate in the peace talks beside that of the government.
This came when a delegation of the front met with President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan at the Republic Palace here today. The delegation comprised besides the chairperson of the Revolutionary Front, commanders Malik Agar and Al-Tahir Hajar.
The meeting discussed progress of the ongoing negotiations between delegations of the Sudanese government and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement- North- Abdelaziz Al-Hilu besides current developments in the country.
Spokesperson of the Revolutionary Front Osama Saeed said in a press statement that a delegation of the front would be sent to Juba to join that of the government.
He added that the delegation of the Revolutionary Front would work with their colleagues in the government delegation with the spirit of one team for making the negotiations a success as soon as possible.
