Al-Obeid, March 17 (SUNA) – Commander of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) -Kordofan Sector Brig. Adam Abu-Shanab Hamadain has affirmed that RSF exert great efforts as part of the system of the joint forces in maintaining security, combating negative phenomena and resolving conflicts besides boosting social cohesion in the state.
Briefing visiting media delegation at the headquarters of RSF in Al-Obeid, capital of North Kordofan State, Brig. Hamadain indicated that RSF participated in securing transit roads in addition to settling conflicts in West Kordofan resulting from disputes over pastures and agriculture.
He referred to the role of his forces in raising awareness of the community on all aspects harmful to society in Greater Kordofan and post-tribal reconciliation agreement challenges.
