Somali Ambassador Briefed on Settlement Agreement on Conflict-Affected Children
Damazin, Oct.12(SUNA)-The Governor of the Blue Nile Region, Gen.Ahmed Al Omda Badi informed , when he met today the Somali delegation participating the Ninth National Youth Conference, the Somali Ambassador to Sudan, Dr Mohamed Sheikh Ishaq, on progress of implementation of the Settlement Agreement between the Government of Sudan and the African Union on children affected by conflicts and damage occurred in the State during the rule of former regime.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of te Natioanl Council for Child Welfare , Abdul-Gadir Abdalla.
Dr Abdul-Gadir said that meeting reaffirmed drawing up a plan with the government of the Blue Nile Region for follow up application of policies.
