Khartoum, Oct. 6 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Prof. Siddiq Tawer, received in his office at the Republican Palace the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Sudan, Segni Burgstalar.
The Ambassador of Sweden explained in a press statement that the meeting dealt with developments in the political situation and the challenges facing the political transition in Sudan, and ways to address them as soon as possible in order to achieve security and stability in the country.
She stressed that her country will remain a supportive partner to Sudan until the smooth political transition process is completed.
