Khartoum, Oct. 10 (SUNA)- Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Member Dr. Al-Hadi Idris has got acquainted with the current arrangements for convening the meeting of the Council of Trustees of International University of Africa, scheduled to take place in January next year.
This came when TSC member received today at his office in the Republican Palace the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Hunud Abia Kadouf.
Dr. Idris, expressed appreciation, to the big role, being assumed by the International University of Africa, in serving Sudan’s, African continent and the world issues.
Prof. Kadouf said in press statement that the meeting discussed issues that are facing the university and efforts exerted to resolve them in order to develop the educational process and achieve the goals of the university in serving Africans and Sudanese people.
The Vice Chancellor of the University pointed out that 40,000 students have graduated from the university and the current undergraduates are belonging to nearly 84 countries.
Prof. Kadouf affirmed that the University is witnessing great stability and it contributes to Sudan’s strategic project of boosting popular diplomacy with the countries of the world though its graduates, pointing out to the importance of supporting the university to carry out its noble message .
