Khartoum Sep.22(SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council(TSC), Taher Abu Bakr Hajar, returned this morning to Khartoum from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after a seven-day visit at the invitation of the Kingdom’s government, during which he was accompanied by the Minister of Transport, Engineer Mirghani Musa and Minister of Minerals, Mohammed Bashir Abdallah.
He was received at Khartoum airport by the TSC Secretary-General, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al Ghali Yusuf.
Al-Taher Hajar said in a press statement upon his return that the visit was successful by all accounts, as the delegation met His Highness, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the accompanying ministers met their counterparts in the Kingdom, and the mining aspect between the two countries was discussed.
He stated that the visit included meetings that discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, the visit of the security services, and how to cooperate with Sudan during the transitional period, especially the peace agreement.
Hajar stressed that the visit achieved its goals, especially with regard to the Kingdom’s support for Sudan and issues of the peace agreement and democratic transition.
