Istanbul, May 25 (SUNA)- The Turkish- African Media Summit will kick off today Wednesday, in Istanbul on the occasion of Africa Day which coincides 25th of May each year, and founding of the Organization of African Uninty .
The Summit which aims to enhance ways of cooperation and coordination between the Turkish and African journalists, share experiences, develop partnership between Turkey and African countries, will be addressed by the Turkish Communications Director.
More than 80 journalists from African countries will take part in the summit, besides African diplomats officials from public institutions, representatives of media, academics, representatives of private sector and non-governmental organizations in Turkey.
The Summit which lasts for two days, will discuss further enhancement of cooperation, coordination between the Turkish and African journalists, experiences exchange and boosting the partnership.
The Summit will also review a number of topics, some of which are challenges facing the press after coronavirus pandemic, press and digital system, the Turkish- African partnership and other topics.
