Khartoum, July 26 (SUNA)-Khartoum International Airport received 12 Ethiopian planes which had made emergency landing yesterday evening and today morning.
The landing of the planes happened because of the bad weather at Addis Ababa Airport.
The planes which are belonging to Ethiopian Airlines were on their destination to Addis Ababa coming from a number of European and Asian airports.
Civil Aviation Authority Chief, Eng. Ibrahim Adlan said in statement to SUNA that Khartoum airport authorities acted with high professional way and full coordination with parties concern, receiving the planes and provided all technical and logistical services to them until they departed safely after the improvement of weather at Addis Ababa Airport .
