Khartoum, Sept 22 (SUNA) – US President Joe Biden has commended in his address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York yesterday the bravery of the Sudanese woman, who, he said, have stood violence and oppression to push a genocidal dictator from power and to keep working every day to defend their democratic progress.
He stressed that women’s rights must be defended, to use their full talents in order to contribute economically, politically and socially and to pursue their dreams away from violence and threats.
