Khartoum July 2(SUNA) -US State Department has announced that Sudan shifted to better level in efforts on human trafficking issue.
Moreover it stated that Sudan’s name deleted from the list of countries implicated in child recruitment.
According to press briefing presented by US State Department that Sudan is classified on rank No. 2 among other countries due to their efforts in countering human trafficking.
Following US announcement the Sudanese ambassador to Washington Prof. Nur-Eddin Sati said that positive decisions are taking place successively by United States in favor of Sudan.
On Thursday he said that US State Department deleted Sudan’s name from countries implicated in child recruitment list.
The Sudanese Ambassador noticed that US State Department shifted Sudan’s name from rank 3 to rank 2 regarding human trafficking issue and that he said indicted a big improvement on Sudan’s records.
United States Embassy to Khartoum on its part twittered over the issue saying that Sudan in spite of challenges over coronavirus pandemic and resources has been able to improve its records in countering human trafficking issue.
