Wali of Kassala Affirms Capability of the Armed Forces to Protect Borders
Kassala, March 3 (SUNA) – The Acting Wali (governor) of Kassala State, Al Tayeb Mohamed Al Sheikh reiterated confidence in capability of the Rapid Support Forces and the other regular forces in protecting the country’s borders against any aggression or threats that may pose instability in the country.
Addressing the Rapid Support Forces at premises of Rapid Support Forces Intelligence , the Acting Wali of Kassala State said the position of the State makes it faces problems of smuggling of weapons, human and drugs trafficking and in addition to smuggling of subsidized commodities, pointing out that the existence of the Rapid Support Forces in the State was a signal that the forces are ready for protecting the State.
For his part, the Commander of RSF-Kassala Sector, Col. Yahya Mohamed Adam, underlined capability of the Rapid Support Forces to defend the country’s borders.
